Repostal is an AI-powered content repurposing tool that helps creators and marketers reformat content for multiple platforms. We are operated as an independent product based in India.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the service:

• Email address — when you sign up for early access or create an account
• Content you paste into the tool — processed in real time to generate outputs, not stored permanently
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration (via anonymised analytics)
• Device and browser information — for performance monitoring and bug fixing
• Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we never store card details

3. How we use your information

Your information is used solely to:

• Operate and improve the Repostal service
• Send you product updates and relevant announcements (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• Respond to support queries
• Monitor for abuse and ensure fair usage across accounts
• Process payments and manage subscriptions

4. Your content and AI processing

When you paste content into the repurposing engine, it is sent to the Claude API (operated by Anthropic) to generate platform-specific outputs. This processing happens in real time.

• Your pasted content is not stored on our servers after processing
• Outputs generated are not used to train AI models
• Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle API requests — you can review it at anthropic.com/privacy

We strongly recommend not pasting sensitive personal data, confidential business information, or private communications into the tool.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the product is being used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or Meta Pixel retargeting cookies without your explicit consent.

If we run advertising campaigns, we will update this section to disclose exactly what tracking is in place and provide an opt-out mechanism.

6. Data storage and security

Your account data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

7. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Repostal:

• Anthropic Claude API — for AI content generation
• Netlify — for website hosting and form submissions
• Razorpay or Stripe — for payment processing (applicable to paid plans)

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing data they receive. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
• Export your account data in a portable format

9. Children's privacy

Repostal is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
